Aditi Jain CBT Psychotherapy

Online CBT for anxiety, OCD and trauma-related difficulties

Aditi Jain · MSc, MBABCP

If worry, intrusive thoughts, compulsions, avoidance, difficult memories or self-doubt are taking up too much space in your life, therapy can help you understand what's keeping these patterns going and find practical ways forward.

I'm Aditi, a BABCP-accredited Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist. I offer structured, compassionate CBT for adults online across the UK.

You might be here because…

You may look as though you're coping while privately feeling exhausted by what's happening in your mind.

Perhaps you're spending a lot of time worrying, overthinking or imagining what could go wrong. You may be experiencing intrusive thoughts, checking, reassurance-seeking or other compulsions. Difficult experiences from the past may still affect how safe you feel today. Or you may feel low, self-critical or stuck in patterns you understand intellectually but haven't been able to change.

You do not need to have a diagnosis or know exactly what you need before getting in touch. We can begin by understanding what's happening and what you would like to be different.

Anxiety

Persistent worry, panic, overthinking and avoidance can gradually make life smaller. CBT can help us understand the cycle maintaining anxiety and work towards responding differently to fear and uncertainty.

OCD and intrusive thoughts

OCD can involve unwanted thoughts, images or urges alongside checking, reassurance-seeking, avoidance, mental rituals or other compulsions. We can explore the cycle that keeps these difficulties going and work on changing how you respond to it.

Trauma and difficult past experiences

Difficult experiences can continue to affect how you feel, think, relate to others and experience safety. I have a particular interest in trauma-focused work and offer a paced, collaborative approach to understanding and working with these experiences.

I also work with depression, low self-esteem, stress, life transitions and relationship difficulties.

About

I'm Aditi Jain, a BABCP-accredited Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist with seven years of clinical experience. I hold an MSc in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, an MSc in Clinical Psychology and a BA in Psychology.

I work with adults experiencing anxiety, OCD, trauma-related difficulties, depression and low self-esteem, as well as people going through difficult changes in their lives or relationships.

I want therapy to feel supportive without becoming vague. My approach is collaborative and compassionate, but also structured: we work together to understand what is keeping a difficulty going, agree what you would like to change and use therapy actively towards those goals.

CBT is adapted to you rather than applied as a one-size-fits-all formula. Where appropriate, I also draw on trauma-focused and compassion-informed approaches. I welcome clients from different backgrounds, identities and relationship styles.

All sessions are online, so I work with adults across the UK.

How CBT can help
My approach

Three things you can expect from working with me.

01

Compassionate

A warm, non-judgemental space where you can say the difficult thing out loud without being judged or rushed.

02

Structured

CBT gives our work a shape. You'll understand what we're doing, why we're doing it and what we're working towards.

03

Goal-focused

We agree goals in your words and review them together, so we can notice what is changing and adapt when something isn't helping.

Not sure yet? That's a perfectly good place to start.

The introductory call is free, informal and 15 minutes long. We'll talk about what's bringing you here, and I'll be honest about whether I'm the right person to help.
