Send an enquiry by email

If you'd rather put it in writing before speaking to anyone, that's completely fine. Tell me briefly what's bringing you here and anything you'd like to ask.

What happens next

Your enquiry comes to me, and only me.

I read every enquiry myself and reply within one working day. If you've booked a consultation, you'll simply hear from me at the time you chose.

On the call I'll ask a little about what's been going on and what you're hoping for. You can ask me anything: how CBT works, what sessions look like, my experience with something specific. Nothing is decided in that 15 minutes unless you want it to be.

If I'm not the right fit, I'll say so and point you towards other options.

Confidentiality

What you tell me stays here

Everything we discuss is confidential. The rare exceptions are where there's a serious risk to your safety or someone else's, or where the law requires disclosure — and I'd talk to you about it wherever possible.

Notes and records

I keep brief, secure notes to support our work, held in line with UK data protection law. You're entitled to ask what I hold at any point.

Clinical supervision

I have regular clinical supervision as part of maintaining safe and effective practice. I minimise identifying information when discussing clinical work and handle information in line with my professional and data-protection responsibilities.

Ethical practice

I work to the BABCP Standards of Conduct, Performance and Ethics as an accredited member.

If it's urgent

I'm not an emergency service. If you need help now, contact your GP, call NHS 111, or 999 in an emergency. The Samaritans are also free to call on 116 123, any time.
